Spinal Cord Injuries destroy lives…

Every day in America 42 people are permanently paralyzed through spinal cord damage - that's over 15,000 per year, many of which are under 40 years of age.

Walk Again was created to give hope to those SCI patients who dream of recovery. Through intense exercise based therapy programs, a much improved quality of life can be achieved by encouragement, education, support and self belief.

Spinal Cord Injury not only cripples the individual it cripples the entire family.

Our goal is to to offer a guide for patients and their families about the treatments available. Share our hope and our faith that you can walk again. To share information and research to other organizations and offer information to support anyone with a spinal cord injury.

In addition we are raising funds for a Walk Again Rehabilitation Center where many cutting edge treatments including hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT), aquatic treatment, LokoMat and many other treatments are available under one roof.

Currently, many of these treatments are available but you must travel to different facilities that offers a specific treatment.

We need your help.  We are raising funds for a new Walk Again Rehabilitation Center.  Our focus is on recovery rather than improving quality of life.  If you are in a chair and you want to walk again we want to give you the tools to help you reach your goals.

My name is Kevin Airrington and I am a paralyzed veteran of the US Army.  With your help we will contribute to ongoing research to find a cure for spinal cord injury and paralysis.  Together we can build a rehabilitation center that focuses on recovery rather than simply improving the quality of life while sitting in a wheelchair.

Walk Again aims to provide an improved quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries using methods of repetitive movement developed. These intense exercise-based recovery programs, coupled with education, support prayer and encouragement aim to reactivate the nervous system.
